7 Easy Steps to a Quick Pamper Night time!

Pamper Night, Sleep, 7 Steps to a Quick Pamper Night, Spa, Me-time, Relaxing

We have all had those hard, tedious days where you feel absolutely sluggish and exhausted! It’s one of those days where you are in much need to unwind and de-stress from head to toe. It is far too easy to get caught up in everyday life stresses and we forget to nurture our needs! Giving yourself some me-time and pampering yourself every now and then is so very crucial to your overall well-being and happiness. While self-pampering may not lead to major improvements in health like exercise or a healthy diet do, the release you get from pampering yourself can trigger the relaxation response, which in turn can prevent chronic stress in your future. So, do not underestimate the power of self-pampering or consider it a laborious chore because we all deserve a happy and stress-free life!!

Okay, now that we have got the introduction out of the way, let’s jump right in to how to treat yourself to 7 easy steps for a quick pamper night. This post is mainly targeted on those days when you really wish for a pamper time but maybe you don’t have enough time to actually do it! Hence, the title “Quick Pamper Night.” I have laid 7 easy, doable steps that you can follow that will still leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed after a strenuous day!

  1. Wash Your Face:

Remove all that makeup using a cleanser and wash off all that dirt and impurity form your skin. This is actually my favorite step because I find it quite therapeutic and feel very refreshed when I do so

2) Run a Bath:

YES, it is cliché but it works! For me a bath is so calming, especially during the cold, winter season. It instantly makes you feel warm and relaxed and releases all that pressure you have been carrying with you throughout the day.

3) Set Up the Mood:

While you’re running your bath, prepare yourself for a cozy mood! No better way to do that than to light up some candles! Science and research shows that our mood can by uplifted by fragrances or scents because they are correlated to having aromatherapy properties. Light up your favorite candles, use some fairy lights/dim lights, turn on some soothing music and it will make such a big difference in an instant! I not only light up some candles to set the mood in my bathroom but I also go ahead and do the same in my room, so that when I get out of the bath and step into my room, I feel like I’m in paradise!

4) Make Yourself Some Tea:

Usually my bath takes about 15 mins to fill up so this gives me enough time to set up the mood and make myself some tea. I’m loving Green Tea at the moment. L-theanine, is the key ingredient in green teas that leads to a state of physical and mental relaxation. Use your choice of tea to help you sedate and de-stress.

5) Add Bath Foam/Scrub:

At this point your bath should have been filled up and now it is time to add your bath foam and set aside your body scrub. I have been loving the Sleep-Lavender Vanilla Body Wash & Foam Bath from Bath & Body Works. It is infused with soothing skin conditioners, while an aromatherapy blend of essential oils helps calm feelings of stress so you can sleep better and wake up more refreshed. I think this is perfectly appropriate to use for a pamper night to unwind! For my scrub, I am loving the Lavender Shea butter Scrub from the company Do Not Disturb. They are known for supplying products that are targeted for pamper/me-time. After you’re done with this step, it is time to step into the bath to relax, untwine, and just let it go! This is your time to indulge in your bath, sip on your tea, enjoy the moment, and be at peace!

6) Apply Body Lotion:

After your maybe 20 mins of quick but relaxed pampering session, it is now time to wipe off, brush your teeth and apply your body lotion. I have been using the body lotion from the same Sleep collection from Bath & Body Works. I find the smell of lavender divine anyway so it works for me!

7) Have A Good Night Rest:

At this point you would have already felt heavenly and extremely nurtured and entering into your room with the candles and dim lights already on would hopefully make you feel even more spectacular. Blow off all those candles and have a good night rest!!

I guarantee doing these quick and easy steps of this pampering regime will immensely benefit you the next day and hopefully even in your future!

I absolutely love your bathtub! Mine is the standard rectangular one. It’s rather small in width, length and height. It’s hard to enjoy a good bath on mine. I do however treat myself to a good face wash, exfoliate my face, and lotion and candles in my room. 😀

I like burning some incense before I go to sleep, or a cup of warm cocoa and even some natural sleep helping pills. Also lavender oil – I don’t normally like the smell, but it’s so good for putting you in the mood 😀
