This shampoo claims to lock in color while ensuring the health and vibrancy of your hair. With Color Shield Complex, cranberry and sunflower oils, this shampoo delicately cleanses to help maintain long-lasting vibrant color. It is ideal for color-treated, dry or damaged hair.
Results: Loved it!! First off, the smell is simply delicious! It smells fruity with the perfect blend of melons which leave your hair smelling absolutely divine for hours. I have color treated hair so this was perfect for me! It does give you a clean wash with a good lather build up. I was afraid initially that it could leave my hair oily since the name suggests the term ‘oil’ but to my pleasant surprise it did not and I was quite pleased with the results.
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Conditioner
Claims to soften, detangle, and helps to maintain long lasting colored hair without any damage. Shields and replenishes hair.
Results: Have no complains about this conditioner either! It left my hair extremely soft after without any tangles! Similarly, the scent is simply amazing!
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Deep Conditioner
This hydrating treatment preserves and nurtures color treated hair. A generous amount of this deep conditioner is to be applied onto clean, wet hair whilst massaging into hair focusing on damaged areas. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse well.
Results: From its sweet fruity scent to the way it made my hair feel, it was a luxurious experience! Left my hair feeling so soft and manageable that I literally felt like I came out of a spa!
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Shine Treatment
This lightweight, alcohol-free treatment provides hair with a radiant glow leaving no greasy residue. Can be used on both wet and dry hair to create a silky, smooth finish.
Results: I have oily hair to begin with so I usually avoid any shine treatments in general so I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this particular product. I have used this quite a few times now and I must say it does stand up to its claims of not leaving any greasy residue to your hair! I used half a coin size of product onto my hands and evenly distributed it lightly to the ends of my hair. My hair did add on some more shine and glow after I applied this, so I am happy with the treatment as well!
Overall: A big thumbs up!! If you have color treated or damaged hair, give this a go! To top it off, you can’t beat the prize, super reasonable ($5.99 for the shampoo/conditioner) and easy to find! (local drugstores)
