I am in absolute love with the Naked Skin Urban Decay Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation! I have been using this for a few months now and I adore it completely. It’s only fair to mention my skin type first before we dive into the details of this product. I have normal to dry skin, esp. now during the winter season my skin most likely leans towards the dry side. This foundation claims to experience the feeling of not wearing anything at all (hence, the term “NAKED SKIN.”) It absolutely and irrevocably does that! It definitely has an air-brushed feel and looks great in pictures too! Your skin is instantly illuminated and bright and feels so nice to touch. It’s extremely weightless, with medium to full coverage so works quite well with covering up spots here and there. It does leave your skin with a demi-matte finish so I would presume that it would work well with oily skin as well. Although, I have dry skin it is not patchy and my skin does not flake off in any area, which is a great plus!
The Naked Skin Urban Decay Liquid Foundation also claims to be paraben-free, infused with Matrixyl 3000, which is an anti-wrinkle peptide, protective and brightening Litchiderm, antioxidant green tea, and vitamins, which means that’s its loaded with nourishing ingredients. I mean, you can’t really go wrong there! Makeup with nourishment are words you don’t often hear together.
Consistency: It is quite liquidy and very runny but despite of that it does have medium to full coverage which is awesome. It does smell like paint though, so if anyone is not too much into paints, just a heads up! But, to be fair you honestly cannot smell anything once it is applied onto your face.
Packaging: Love it! So sleek and elegant. The cover comes in a brownish coppery shade and the foundation is plastic on the outside with a metal cover on top. Another awesome bonus is that it comes with a pump which I love in foundations and find them quite convenient as well as hygienic. It is a 30 ml foundation, so the size is amazing as well!
Application: I give it a good shake before I pump it on to my hand and then follow up with a brush or my beauty blender. Although, I just want to add that since the consistency is quite runny, I do find I require 2-3 pumps if I am using my beauty blender, since it soaks up some of that foundation. A brush generally requires about 2 pumps but then again that purely depends on how much make up application you follow.
Overall, you have obviously gathered by now that I love this foundation and it really is my life savior! (For now.) Hope you guys enjoyed reading this. What are your go-to foundations that you have been loving lately? Would love to know more about that!
