Holiday Home Tour 2016
Welcome to my Holiday Home Tour 2016! The word home tour always seems a little intimidating to me especially since I moved to California a few months back and my place is still very much a work in progress but nonetheless I thought it would be fun to share little bits and pieces of my home for the Holidays.
So, please step in and be my guest!
I have kept my overall Christmas theme a bit simple this year while still keeping the holiday spirit alive.
I love this little festive nook. Here you will find some staple Christmas goodies and décor with a string of sparkly lights and some candles.
OH, don’t be shy! Please help yourself to some cookies!
On my kitchen bar are some garlands with fairy lights, candles, and 2 snowy pine cones. In the middle is my favorite centrepiece from Kirkland’s. Against the wall is my DIY Joy frame that I made. Love how festive this area looks at night when the lights are all dim and the candles are all lit!
Don’t those garland Gingerbread men just put a smile to your face!
I went with a clean, simple look for my dining area with blue, beige and neutral colored balls with glitter mini pine cones in them. I cut off a piece of garland and wrapped the bowl around it with some fairy lights to finish it off.
Absolutely love the DIY painted Christmas bottle I made. It sits on my coffee table surrounded with other festive candles and DIY projects.
This window in my living room is actually what sold me about this house. It makes the room feel airy, open and gets in a lot of sunlight through the day. I knew I wanted to do something to this window for Christmas and settled upon little snowflakes hanging down from it. At the base, I have adorned it with some fake snow and some of my other DIY titbits along with some candles.
Most of our nights are spent on this couch all cozied up with warm blankets, hot chocolate, good company, and golden moments.
Hope you had a great time and thanks for keeping me company! Have a Merry Christmas!!
Psst..Let’s be social!
