Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo!

Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo, Lush Dry Shampoo, Dry Shampoo

If your one of those people that deals with oily hair and is in an excessive search for a solution than stick around for this may just be useful! Sadly, my hair does get oily pretty darn quickly and I’ve been on a search for dry shampoos ever since. I came across the No Drought Dry Shampoo from Lush and thought I would give it a go since Lush products are known for their handmade cosmetics, it couldn’t have got better than that.

It is a Vegan product so unlike other dry shampoos that may have chemicals in them this is definitely a better alternative. Its main ingredient is cornflower so it is absorbent and soaks into your scalp pretty well, if applied in small amounts. With that said, I wouldn’t apply this to hair when it’s very greasy. That’s usually the time you take a shower. This is simply meant to be applied between your washes to keep your hair fresh on the go. For instance, I usually wash my hair every other day, so this product would be best suited on my second unwashed hair day.

I purchased the 55g (about $7) of product, because a little goes a long way so it’s definitely worth your price! The packaging is not all that great. It comes in a plastic exterior with a cap that requires you to press at one end whilst it removes the powdery consistency on the other end. You often get out either too much product or too less but overall that does not bother me much.

The way I use this is that I either spurt this out onto the palm of my hands or I directly apply it to my hair, specifically my crown region and massage it gently in to my scalp. It instantly lifts your roots up as well so it does give your hair a slight volume and of course gets rid of any slight greasiness that you may have. It does have a lovely citrus fragrance that leaves your hair feeling fresh, which is a great added bonus!

Overall, I would surely give this product a thumbs up! Go out and buy it because it does what it claims leaving you satisfied. Hope this helped!

I love the sound of this product. I might have to give it a go. I have stopped enjoying washing my hair as often as I should during this pregnancy of mine. This product might just help my obvious unwashed hair!!

Does this leave a weird texture on your scalp? I find that when I use the Batise(?) one the next day my scalp is irritated and my hair is crunchy. Definitely looking out for a better option and this could be it! P. xx
