PHOTOWALL WALL MURALS AND CANVAS PRINTS
A wall without art is like a soul without personality. There’s no secret in how much I adore art, colors, and anything design related. If you share the same passion as me then you are at the right place! I have collaborated with Photowall, a Swedish company with a passion for design and quality. Their wall murals and canvas prints are environmentally friendly, fire-retardant in accordance with Swedish standards and do not fade in sunlight.
Photowall’s website offers over 3000 motifs from more than 70 designers around the world and their canvas prints are made from 100% cotton. You can either choose from their canvas prints from their category selections or upload your own image to create a canvas print. Pretty cool huh!? I chose to upload my own image from one my handmade prints from my Etsy shop and opted for the do-it-yourself canvas kit.
The shipment came within a week which was great! In the box came the print I ordered on canvas and the wooden frame kit that I had to build myself. Was super impressed with the canvas print quality and the color saturation of my print. It looked like exactly how I painted it with no discoloration or pixilation even though I ordered a pretty big one in the size of 27.5” x 35.5”
The package also comes with a sheet of instructions on how to build the frame but their website also has a super easy to follow video on how to do it as well, which I much rather preferred. I have linked that video for you guys to have a look – http://www.photowall.com/help/canvas
** PERSONAL TIP – start with the outer two corners first and then work the inner ones after for easier alignment.
I am so happy with the way the canvas turned out. It is firm, rigid and strong and the kit also came with screws and a hanging holder so you do not have to worry about how to hang this on the wall. For this large sized canvas, I am pretty impressed on how easy the entire process was. Their customer service is also so great and they make sure to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
***BONUS! – Photowall was kind enough to give my readers 20% off their complete selection using code pwalifyalifestyle2017
So, what do you guys think!? Have you ever ordered murals or canvas art online before? What are your thoughts on DIY frame kits?
